You have a story.Now let's unlock it.

Five questions I would ask myself before making the next video. Not to find another effect, but to understand what will make someone stop, feel, and stay.

Start with the first question ↓

BEFORE YOU OPEN AN AI TOOL

The prompt is not the first question.

If you cannot answer the five questions below, even the most impressive video will remain a pretty video. Write a short answer to each one. A sentence or two is enough.

THE POINT OF THIS GUIDE
AI can produce the frame. It has no idea why that frame should exist.

These five questions do not test whether you know the tools. They help you decide what you want the tool to serve.

THE EXERCISE

Five questions before your next video

Start with the story and the emotion. AI enters only in the fourth question — as a tool for giving an idea that already exists a form people can see.

01 / 05

What is the real story underneath the thing you want to show?

Do not start with the product, the character, or the shot. Ask what happened before the camera turned on. What made you create this in the first place? That is usually where the material people can feel lives.

In the example: The story was not a beautiful necklace. It was the designer trying to continue the necklace her grandmother left her and give every piece the story of another woman.
OMER METHODIn the full method, we turn this raw material into the heart of the story before we touch a prompt or a production tool.
02 / 05

Who should this video make feel something?

Not “everyone.” Picture one person who knows the pain, fear, or desire inside this story. What should they feel at the end: relief, hope, recognition, courage, laughter, or curiosity?

In the example: The precise person is a creator or business owner who makes beautiful content, does not get a result, and starts to think they are simply not good at this.
03 / 05

What tension keeps the viewer inside the story?

A story needs a gap: between what a person wants and what stops them, or between what we see outside and what is really happening. Without that gap, there is no question the viewer needs resolved.

In the example: The designer has a powerful human story, but hides it and posts a video where the necklace only spins. That gap is the tension.
OMER METHODTension does not have to be big drama. Sometimes it is one sentence that contradicts what the viewer sees and makes them stay.
04 / 05

What one visual moment can turn the story into something we can see?

Only now does AI enter. Not as the source of the idea, but as a tool for giving emotion a shape. Look for one image, action, or transition that can express the story without explaining it.

In the example: Instead of another product shot, one real sentence from a woman can become a visual world. Only at the end does the jewelry born from her story appear.
05 / 05

Have you found one video — or a format you can build a world from?

A good video solves today's post. A good format solves the next ten. Check which part of the idea stays fixed and which part can change in every episode.

In the example: In each video, a different woman shares a sentence she has never said out loud. The story becomes a visual world, and the jewelry born from it is revealed at the end. That is already a series, not an ad.
OMER METHODThis is where a sharp idea starts becoming a system: format, character, direction, visual language, references, and a process you can repeat.

WHAT'S NEXT

You found the heart. Now turn it into a video that works.

Five questions. One decision system.

OMER METHOD continues from there: story structure, a consistent character, direction, references, prompts, and a production process you can use again and again.
